1. OVERVIEW

SEASIDE MINIMARKET LTD provides the Seaside Minimarket Android app. This policy explains how the present version uses and stores information when you browse grocery reference listings, keep favourites and shopping lists, or prepare delivery details. 2. INFORMATION ENTERED FOR DELIVERY REQUEST PREPARATION

The delivery form requires: (a) full name, so the prepared request can identify the intended recipient; (b) UK phone number, so the prepared details contain a contact number; (c) address line 1, so a street and building can be specified; (d) town or city; and (e) UK postcode, so the delivery destination can be described. The form validates these fields before moving to review.

The following fields are optional: address line 2 (flat, unit, or additional address detail) and delivery notes or special instructions (up to 250 characters). Please do not enter passwords, financial credentials, door-entry codes, or other sensitive information in your notes.

As you type, those fields are processed in the app's temporary form state. On completion of a prepared request, the details are retained in app-private storage on your device. They are not transmitted to the store or a backend by this release. The form is not a confirmed delivery booking or a commercial purchase.

3. LOCAL SHOPPING INFORMATION

The app may store the following on your device when you use the associated feature:

• Basket product identifiers and quantities;
• Product identifiers saved as favourites;
• Up to ten recently viewed product identifiers;
• Shopping-list records containing item identifiers, quantities and the list's saved timestamp;
• Prepared delivery-request records containing your submitted form fields, products, quantities, the estimated item total, and the creation timestamp.

Prices are public UK retail-market benchmarks maintained in the app, not confirmed prices offered by SEASIDE MINIMARKET LTD. No payment card number, bank credentials, CVV or account password is requested or stored.

4. WHY THIS INFORMATION IS USED

Data kept on the device supports basket editing, favourite lists, reuse of saved shopping lists, delivery-detail review and request history. Contact and address details are used only to prepare and display a local delivery request. This version has no merchant order-submission service and does not confirm availability, acceptance, delivery costs, dispatch or payment.

5. STORAGE, ACCESS AND SHARING

Prepared delivery requests, basket data, recent products, favourites and saved lists are held using Android app-private SharedPreferences. They are accessible to this app in the Android sandbox. No separate database, remote company server, authentication system, cloud-synchronisation service or payment processor is used for this information. Android app-data backups are disabled. The current app does not apply a separate encryption-at-rest layer to these preferences; device security and the Android application sandbox provide platform-level protection. Please secure your phone appropriately.

No personal delivery fields or shopping requests are automatically sent to SEASIDE MINIMARKET LTD, advertisers or analytics services.

6. PRODUCT IMAGES AND INTERNET CONNECTIONS

To display the specified grocery photographs, the app first looks for locally bundled files or previously cached licensed images. If a photograph is missing, the app may fetch the matching image from Wikimedia Commons and cache a copy in app-private storage. Those network requests may reveal your device's IP address and ordinary connection metadata to Wikimedia or its distribution infrastructure under their own privacy practices. Names, phone numbers, delivery addresses, notes and saved orders are not included in the image URLs or those requests. Product-source links only open your browser when you select them.

7. CONTACT US AND EXTERNAL APPLICATIONS

When you choose the Contact Us email option, Android may open your installed email app addressed to [email protected]. Information you write into an email is handled by the email application and its provider according to their terms; the grocery app does not send this email in the background. It does not use email, WhatsApp, SMS, a share sheet or another app to submit checkout details or prepared delivery requests automatically.

8. PERMISSIONS AND OTHER SERVICES

This release uses Android INTERNET permission only for downloading product photographs when needed. It does not ask for device location, GPS, contacts, media library, camera, microphone, or SMS permissions. There is no account sign-in, Firebase, in-app advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, online payment processing or bank-card collection.

9. RETENTION, REVIEW, AND DELETION

Saved requests and other local shopping information remain on your device until you delete them, clear app information, or uninstall the app. Open More > Delivery requests to expand or delete an individual prepared record. Use More > Clear saved information to erase all saved basket items, favourites, recently viewed items, shopping lists, delivery-request records (including recipient names, phone numbers, addresses and notes), and cached downloaded photographs. Uninstalling the app also deletes its app-private data. Information typed into a form but not completed is not retained when the app process is closed. We do not retain a company-side copy because requests are not sent from the app in this release.

10. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

You may leave optional fields blank, refrain from preparing a delivery request, delete individual prepared records and clear the app's local information. For privacy questions, requests for clarification, or applicable data-protection rights, email [email protected]. Rights and legal obligations may vary with your circumstances and applicable UK data-protection law.

11. CHILDREN

The app is intended as a general grocery planning tool. It does not knowingly provide a special children's account or collect birthdates. If you are a parent or guardian and have a privacy concern, contact us using the email above.

12. CHANGES

This policy applies to the Seaside Minimarket V4 delivery-preparation release, dated 17 October 2026. If the app later introduces actual order submission, payments, analytics, delivery tracking or new data processing, the app and this policy must be updated before those services are activated.
